3d applications

When you think of 3d you can apply it to anythink but when you look at the games/movies/Tv industry you will notice that 3d is used in almost every single piece of media to date. Industries rely on how good technology is and the producers who can actually develop something good to industry standard.

There are many different types of 3D example 3D architecture which could be scaled on paper with a pencil, this is done so you contractors can get a 3d perspective of the bulding and enviroment around it if constructed. also the buldings will be designed inside by the architect. This also can be done on a 3d application such as maya 2009 or 3ds maxs.

3D in medical science is used to show areas of the body which would be easier to see such as muscles example muscles and areas which need to be cured and taken care of. This is handly to to GP's (general practise) and hosptials because they can figure out how to operate on the person. They also use 3D for life expectance for people such as smokers and dentist for peoples teeth.

3D is mostly used in animation movies such as Toy Story, Monsters INC, and many others they also rely on 3d production applications to survive in a fiancial crisis so they can gain a profit from it.

The area where 3d is used the most is certainly the games industry and with this industry growing bigger and bigger as technology moves forward creating games such as metal gear solid 4, Uncharted, Killzone, Mass  Effect, PGR4 (project gotham racing 4) with all these games claminging they use 98% of the consoles power means they can use applications such as maya 2009 3ds to the very limit the console can take.
